High Five for Friday

1. I was a #goodwife and went to support my hubs play softball & be "snack mom" and bring the boys gatorade & sunflower seeds.

2. Even though I went to softball, I still got my 'Tuesday Alone Time'. I went to the game on Monday (a makeup game), so I still got my Tuesday. I got my nails done, bought some new work out clothes, blogger & watched the USA girls gymnastics kick some serious booty!

Also on Tuesday I was matchy matchy with one of my co-workers Alyssa... figured it was too cute not to share!

3. USA! USA!

I know that I am definitely not the only one obessessing over the Olympics... but there have been some great moments this week already!

4.  Once upon a long time ago, I used to do girls night weekly with my besties... somewhere over time life got the best of me and we do not do this hardly ever any more.. but this Thursday, Jenna & I had tapas and a beverage. I forgot how much I missed these nights! Goal: Get back into the swing of things and start going weekly (or often as possible!) again.

5. This weekend is going to be fabulous...

Reason #1: We find out what the Cabreras are having on Friday at Supper Club! I have said it before, but I think its a boy! I cant wait to know!!!

Meet-a-versary/Weekend Lowdown

Well... I meant to blog Sunday night... and Monday night... and now, it's Tuesday night.. and I am finally doing it. Sooo your getting a combo post today.

First things first - today is J&I's "Meet-a-versary" - now in unison "AWWWWW"

I mean, I just cant stop watching. And while I watch my whole body is tense until the competition is over. out.of.control.

Friday we were super low key with an italian feast and the Opening Ceremony.

I wont lie... slightly bizarre London, but I certainly loved "Hey Jude"



Saturday after allllll day of watching the Olympics we headed out for Branden's 30th birthday celebration. Such a fun night!

Sunday was full of early errands, naps and more Olympics...

High Five for Friday!

This has been the.longest.week.EVER! Just ridiculous... my co-workers were making fun of me for my Wednesday FB post of.. "How is it only Wednesday??? Depressing.." but I really truly felt that way. I mean I seriously crammed a lot of work into this week... while everyone else is on summer vacay in our office **Bitter much??** :)

On to the Top Things of the week... as always linking up with Lauren at From My Grey Desk

1. We hosted a successful supper club, which I know you read about on Monday, so I wont bore you with the details....

2. Still making progress in the back yard... Damn the Texas heat for slowing down our process... Here's another sneak peak of whats to come

3. Had a delish meal (thanks to Chocolate Broccoli!)

4. I hate Jillian Michaels. Period. & this video KICKS.MY.ASS.

But I am so happy to be back on the healthy roll... although #5 will negate that... I will continue on today!

5. HH@H - If you dont know what it means, you arent invited. HA! Mean girls, much? Its fine happy hour with my co-workers is pobably one of my favorite activities.. especially since we work so hard. A skinny raspberry mojito is much deserved every now and then!
