Baker Bree's Sip & See

When we found out that the Masseys were having yet another sweet girl, I knew I wanted to throw a sip & see to celebrate my newest "niece".

I have actually never been to a sip & see, so I somewhat made up how this was going to go. I chose to host it as an open house thinking if people were coming and going everyone would get more face time with sweet Baker girl.

Keeping with the theme of Baker's nursery, I had Sarah create the invitations with pale pink and gold and kept those colors throughout the decor.

I told myself I would keep it simple considering I have a new babe myself, but thats sometimes easier said than done.

"We are so excited for you to meet & hold Baker Bree. Please use hand sanitizer  to help keep her germ free! Thank you!"

When I first start thinking about a menu for any party, I consider the time of day. With this being in the afternoon on a Sunday, with the come and go type feel, I thought it would be fun to have an all sweets bar. I scoured pinterest for easy to make treats and also racked my brain for sweets that I could purchase to keep with the "easy" vibe I was going for.... & if you know me at all, you know that I burn ready to bake cookies, so baking is out of the question for this girl.

Menu:
Cotton Candy: fluffnstufftreats
Cake: Market Street
White Powder Donuts
Honey Yogurt Parfaits with Berries
White Chocolate Raspberry Bundtinis Nothing Bundt Cakes
Dipped Pink Waffle Cookies
Sugar Cookies: Market Street
Macaroons: Mozart Bakery

Baker is Sweet So Grab a Treat

My absolute favorite piece of decor was the "Hello Baker" cake topper. I would have one of these at every.single.party. if people wouldnt think that was repetitive.

For the Sips I wanted to do a mimosa bar, but I also included some pink champs. For non-alcoholic beverages I had flavored water and pink lemonade in mason jars.
